Several years ago I created this Spanish Number rap. One of my most popular songs for the classroom. Check it out below! I've been experimenting this past year with AI and just recently a colleague told me about a cool music creation AI software called "Suno". I've been playing around with it most of the summer. I made a song about my dog, and even a Happy Anniversary song for my wife! This past week I decided to use AI to remix my number rap. I inputted the lyrics, added a chorus, and gave prompts about how to style the song. There was trial and error, but I absolutely love the final product! What's most amazing is that these songs are created in literally about 30 seconds. Check it out below! What do you think? Not sure about you, but my mind is blown!

We hope you all join us this year for the tournament of champions! (formerly known as battle of the week) This will be a slow moving, year long bracket of the 24 most popular songs in our brackets from the past several years. Check out the battle of the week headquarters here. The battle of the week does not run on weeks that our large tournaments (Locotubure and Locura De Marzo) are running. This is what we will use to fill the gaps on the other weeks!
A simple classroom motivation system is a weekly raffle. It's pretty simple. I have a bucket for each class, and raffle tickets. Students can earn raffle tickets for almost anything. Kahoot, Gimkit, turning in homework, volunteering in class, etc. Every Friday I raffle off about 10-15 pieces of small candy and some sort of grand prize! A very simple way to reward classroom engagement and the students love it. I usually stock up on candy after Halloween, Christmas, Easter, when everything is marked down! What do you do in your class?
