1. Introduce Actions With TPR:  (10-15 Minutes)

-Say each word and have the students do the action to go with the word.  Make sure students have out a pencil, paper, and a book. See video demonstration below.  Here is the vocabulary list:
-levántense
-siéntense
-levanten la mano
-bajen la mano
-levanten dos manos
-bajen dos manos
-saquen el lápiz
-levanten el lápiz

2. Play the Music Video (students can just watch): (5 minutes)

3. Do a "Dry Run" of the song.  Have students do the actions of the song without the music: (5-10 minutes)

​Have students do the actions of the song without the music.  You would say the lyrics of the song, the students do the actions.   Here are the song lyrics:

4. Have students do the song with the lyric video 1-2 times: (5-10 minutes)
***Sr. Ashby subscribers can access the lyric video here. This is recommended to encourage student singing/participation.   If you are not a subscriber, you could just play the audio from the music video.

5. Play "Simon Dice"/Simon Says with the commands: (10-15 minutes)

6. If you have extra time, some good filler activities would be:
-Around the World with TPR Actions (Say the words in Spanish and two kids at a time need to do the action, first one to do it wins and moves on)
-ASAP: Put students in Groups of 4.  Each group has a piece of paper with the action/command words.  One student at a time says one of the actions from the sheet.  The other 3 students race to do the action the quickest.  First student to do the action gets a point. Keep track of score.
