These asynchronous (non-live) lessons found here portions are portions of lessons I've designed for my own classroom for remote learning this year during Covid.  I am on a block schedule so I planned asynchronous activities for about half of the time.  The majority of the activities below were found from these resources:

Preliminary Lesson #7

Goals:
-Review alphabet and weather
-Prepare for your vocabulary quiz 
-Identify what remote learning study habits you need to work on

​Activities:
1. Alphabet Practice: (10 minutes)
-Video 1 (5 minutes)
=Video 2 (5 minutes)
 *By lesson 10, you will need to be able to hear a spoken Spanish letter, and write down which letter it is. 

2. Weather Practice: (15 minutes)
-Video 1 (5 minutes)
-Video 2 (5 minutes)
- Video 3 (5 minutes)

3. Combined Vocabulary Practice:  (40 minutes)
-Play Jewels of Wisdom (10 minutes)
-Quiz yourself on your starred flashcards from lesson #6  Show them in Spanish, and see if you can come up with the English word.   Practice your flashcards until you have learned all 101 vocabulary words. (15 minutes) 
-Take the lesson 1 quiz: click here. Click “options” and set-up the options of the quiz so that it is only matching, multiple choice and true and false (no writing).  Set it up so that all 101 terms are part of the quiz.  Continue to take the quiz until you have received a 85% or better.  Take a screenshot of your above 85% score.  (10-20 minutes)

4. Extension Activities (optional)
-Set a goal for yourself on duolingo and begin earning xp.
-Need a brain break? Watch this music video and get up and move.
