1. Have the students complete this worksheet, or turn it into a speaking activity: click here (15 minutes) Idea for a speaking activity: Kagan Cooperative Learning (Hand-up, Stand-up, Pair Up)-Have students find a partner by putting their hand-up and going back to back when they've found someone. Then, they can do a "quiz quiz". They each will ask eachother a question that you have read aloud, projected on the screen, or handed out on slips of paper to students. If you hand out different questions to each student (it's okay if a few students have the same question), you can then do a quiz, quiz, trade where after they ask eachother their question on their papers, they trade papers with eachother, give each other a high five, and then go back to back again. When you say hand-up pair up again they will go find a new partner. See the video below demonstrating this activity.
2. Hand out/have students download the lyrics and annotate the lyrics: click here (10 minutes) -Options for annotating/dissecting the lyrics: Underline the words they know, circle the words they don't know, highlight the cognates, Put a box around the direct object pronouns, etc.

5. Watch the Spanish lyric only video (no animation) and fill out the cloze activity worksheet and review answers: click here (15 minutes) -You will probably have to show the video twice so students are able to fill out the sheet.
