Lesson 1

1. TPR Vocabulary Introduction (15 minutes) 

-estoy feliz,
-estoy triste
-estoy cansado
-estoy sorprendido
-estoy enfermo
-estoy emocionado
-estoy deprimido
-tengo sueño
-tengo calor
-tengo frío
-tengo hambre
-tengo miedo

2. Cómo estás activity: (10 minutes) 

Print out the file below.  Hand out a slip of paper to each student telling them what their emotion is.  Have the students interview each other to fill out their paper.  They need to have a students name in the blank for each emotion before they can return to their seat. For added fun, have the students act out as they walk and talk the feeling their were assigned. After they have returned to their seat, ask different students the questions from the sheet.  For example, "¿Quién está cansado?", have them respond in a complete sentence. "_____________ está cansado."

3. TPR Vocabulary Review and Introduce New Vocabulary (10 minutes)

4. Listen/watch "Tengo Sentimientos" two times and have the students fill out the cloze activity sheet as they listen.  (10 minutes)

5. Review the answers to the cloze activity as a class, and make sure students understand the meaning of all of the words. (15 minutes)
